What checks can be scanned?

All checks, except those drawn on non–U.S. financial institutions, can be scanned.

How many checks can be scanned?

Depending on your business’s check volume, we will recommend the proper scanner to support that activity. For higher volumes, the scanner will support 30 items per minute and for lower volumes, 10 items per minute.

What happens if a check rejects?

Any rejected checks may be manually entered.

What do I do with the scanned checks?

It is your responsibility to securely store the original checks for 60 days following the date of deposit. You must then destroy them.  As a reminder, check images are available through the automatic archive feature of Deposit Express.

Is technical support available?

Yes, technical support is available for scanner malfunctions or any other questions regarding the processing of items.

Can I export the check data to other programs?

Yes, you may export the information in a configurable “csv” or “ascii” format. The file may then be imported into many different accounting software packages.
