Princeton Woods celebrates branch opening with ribbon cutting
On January 21, 2010, VCB's Princeton Woods branch, located at 17054 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Dumfries, held a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception to celebrate the branch's opening. Virginia Commerce Bank officers and members of the VCBI Board of Directors were joined by the Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce, local businesses representatives from the Dumfries market, elected officials and local dignitaries.

On January of 2010, our 28th and newest branch opens in Prince William County, expanding our branch network to better serve the communities in between our Lake Ridge and Fredericksburg locations. Linda Latorre will manage the Princeton Woods branch, located at 17054 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Dumfries, VA, with Jo Ann Bell as the Business Development Officer. FDIC extends increased $250,000 insurance coverage through December 2013
CDARS $250,000 FDIC Increment Change
Beginning May 27, 2009, we will alter the maximum size of the placement increments for CDARS deposits to make them consistent with the new coverage limit. Henceforth, CDs placed through CDARS will be placed in amounts up to $250,000. However, all CDs scheduled to mature after December 31, 2013 will continue to be placed with Network Members in amounts no larger than $100,000. At present, this includes 5-year maturities.
